For many of us sending files by email is the preferred way of transferring documents to recipients – it’s fast and easy – you don’t even have to get up from your chair… following the increasing usage of email in businesses, the ability to track it and follow up becomes more and more important. To address this need, SAP Business One introduces new document status:
“Open – E-Mailed” is assigned to sales, purchasing, and inventory transfer request documents that are open and sent to business partners through SAP Business One Mailer or Microsoft Outlook. If a given document was also printed, it is assigned with the status “Open – Printed, E-Mailed”.
If you want to find out about the recipients related to an e-mailed document, the option “View Sent Emails” is available in the context menu. The number in the brackets indicates the number of recipients:
